Why we started this journey

We’ve spoken with hundreds of knowledge workers: researchers, consultants, investors, strategists, marketers, executives, creators, students, and more. The frustration was universal: existing tools all try to solve different problems within the knowledge workflow, but they all end up adding overhead that compounds. They make us act like human search engines. They help us save or generate more information, but not necessarily think better.

We wanted the opposite: a tool that fades into the background until the moment you need it most, then brings the right knowledge forward, in context, seamlessly. Not another notepad.
